Effective even in harsh conditions.
It works! Tested at 35°C on a 125km bike ride. And? No sunburn or sweat in my eyes. It stayed in place well and I didn’t feel it whilst cycling. I’m thinking of buying a second one so I can put on a fresh one halfway through long rides, just to be on the safe side. In theory, you could also use it to cool your head if you wet it. Not sure how that would affect the sweat-wicking properties, though.

Should have known earlier.
First time used in Bartje200 of 2025 with temperatures of +30c. No problems at all with sweat in eyes or sweat drops leaking behind the sports glasses. Apart from that, helmet is more comfortable on head. Tried everything but this is not warm on head and still high absorbency.

A very light, absorbent headband that's completely forgettable.
